Walk the Wellness Walk in Order to Talk the Wellness Talk

As we start the week, here's a great analogy to keep in mind regarding your health and wellness! This analogy comes from airline safety demonstrations which recommends to put on your oxygen mask first BEFORE helping children or others. YOU are the priority. Without helping yourself first, you cannot help others effectively or without completely draining your resources - especially in the case of an emergency.

Making sure to help yourself first through balanced eating, workouts, sleep, water, meditating, and/or stretching is the best way to put on your 'mask' first. Nothing gives back more energy and vitality then these lifestyle habits to help you help your family, friends, and co-workers! Nothing.
